How do I download and install Nostalgia?
Nostalgia is currently in alpha testing and not yet publicly available on app stores. To join the alpha test, please contact us with your interest. The game will be available on Google Play and the App Store soon.
What devices are supported?
Nostalgia is designed for mobile devices:
  • Android: Android 6.0 (API 23) or higher
  • iOS: iOS 12.0 or higher
  • Requirements: Gyroscope sensor recommended for full gameplay experience
Do I need an account to play?
No! You can play anonymously without creating an account. However, creating a registered account allows you to:
  • Sync progress across multiple devices
  • Use a custom username on leaderboards
  • Receive in-game notifications and updates
  • Participate in future social features

🎮 Gameplay

How do the controls work?
Nostalgia uses intuitive mobile controls:
  • Tap: Tap anywhere on the screen to shatter reality and spawn collectibles
  • Tilt: Tilt your device to guide your pet using the gyroscope
  • Swipe: Navigate menus and interfaces
You can adjust gyroscope sensitivity in the settings menu.
What are the main gameplay objectives?
  • Shatter reality to collect nostalgia shards and items
  • Progress through 28+ unique levels with increasing difficulty
  • Feed and level up your pet across 5 different stats
  • Build and customize your loft
  • Craft rare items and complete collections
  • Compete on global leaderboards
How do I level up my pet?
Feed your pet different types of fruit to increase specific stats:
  • 🍓 Strawberries: Boosts Agility for tighter gyro controls.
  • 🍒 Cherries: Increases Grace to amplify streak bonuses.
  • 🍑 Peaches: Improves Charm for better shop deals and more egg drops.
  • 🍐 Pears: Enhances Stamina, making your collection streak last longer.
  • 🍋 Lemons: Raises Karma to get more loot from enemies.
Each fruit grants XP to its corresponding stat.
What are the different currency types?
Nostalgia uses multiple currencies:
  • Nostalgia: Main currency earned from shattering and collecting. Used for pet feeding and basic purchases.
  • Gems: Premium currency from achievements and rare drops. Used for casino spins and special items.
  • Tickets: Earned from various activities. Used for crafting and loft building.

⚙️ Technical Issues

The game won't start or keeps crashing. What should I do?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
  • Restart your device
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the game
  • Check that your device meets minimum requirements
  • Clear the app cache (Android: Settings > Apps > Nostalgia > Storage > Clear Cache)
  • Ensure you have at least 500MB of free storage space
  • Check your internet connection for online features
If the problem persists, please report the bug with details about your device.
The gyroscope controls aren't working properly.
  • Make sure your device has a gyroscope sensor (most modern smartphones do)
  • Calibrate the gyroscope in Settings > Gyroscope > Calibrate
  • Adjust the sensitivity slider to match your preference
  • Try restarting the app after calibration
  • Some older devices may have less accurate sensors
I lost my progress! How do I recover it?
For registered accounts: Your progress is automatically saved to the cloud. Simply log in again with your credentials.

For anonymous accounts: Progress is saved locally on your device. If you uninstalled the app or cleared data, unfortunately the progress cannot be recovered. We recommend creating a registered account to enable cloud saves!
Why is the game laggy or running slowly?
  • Close other apps running in the background
  • Lower graphics quality in Settings > Graphics > Performance Mode
  • Disable particle effects in settings if available
  • Keep your device cool (overheating can cause performance issues)
  • Check if your device meets the minimum requirements

👤 Account & Progress

How do I create an account?
From the main menu, tap Settings > Account > Create Account. You'll need to provide:
  • A unique username
  • Email address (for account recovery)
  • Password
Your current anonymous progress will be transferred to the new account automatically.
Can I transfer my progress to a new device?
Yes! If you have a registered account, simply log in on your new device and your progress will sync automatically. Anonymous accounts cannot be transferred between devices.
How do I change my username?
Currently, username changes are not supported directly in-game. If you need to change your username, please contact support with your current username and desired new name.

How does the loft builder work?
The loft builder lets you customize your personal space:
  • Access it from the main menu
  • Purchase tiles and furniture with nostalgia currency
  • Place items in a grid-based layout
  • Other players can visit your loft
  • Unlock special decorations by completing achievements
What do the rarity tiers mean?
Items come in 10 rarity tiers, each with increasing power and drop rates:
  1. Basic - Common drops
  2. Common
  3. Uncommon
  4. Rare
  5. Epic
  6. Legendary
  7. Mythic
  8. Divine
  9. Celestial
  10. Cosmic - Extremely rare!
Higher rarity items provide better bonuses and are more valuable for crafting.
How does crafting work?
Access the crafting menu from the main screen. You can:
  • Combine multiple items to create higher-tier items
  • Queue up to 3 crafts at once
  • Crafting takes real-time (can be sped up with gems)
  • Some recipes are discovered through gameplay
Are there multiplayer features?
Yes! Nostalgia includes several multiplayer features:
  • Global Leaderboards: Compete for top rankings
  • Loft Visits: Visit other players' lofts
  • Chat: Basic chat functionality
  • Coming Soon: Clans, co-op bosses, and more!

When Reporting a Bug, Please Include:
